I am certified as a Virtual Teacher Specialist who has courses for beginning readers. My courses include fun videos, pdf materials, online games and Think About It activities.
I have been a teacher for more than 15+ years in classrooms
and home environments.
It was a struggle for me to read and I always had low reading test scores.
After studying to become a Reading Specialist along with the Science of Reading,
I discovered I never made the connection between Phonics and Reading.
My courses are designed to help readers overcome that obstacle.
My courses are part of a series called LETTERS MAKE WORDS. The first course LETTERS TOWN focus on recognizing letters.
AND THE LETTER SAID deals with letter and blending sounds.
CONSONANT AND VOWEL and WORD FAMILIES courses teaches decoding skills.
These foundational tools are an essential part to helping
your child become a life long readers.
